Overview

As the Manager of Affiliate Marketing, you will oversee the successful set-up and management of affiliate infrastructure across multiple global markets, ensuring streamlined operations and impactful results.

Responsibilities

Performance KPIs

  • Affiliate Program Launch: Execute affiliate program rollouts in identified markets in alignment with client timelines.
  • Platform/Network Management: Recommend optimal platforms or networks for each market, leveraging agency buying power to negotiate override fees.
  • Integration Support: Collaborate with developers to provide clear guidelines for integration, tagging, and data feed processes.
  • Data Feed Setup: Coordinate with internal teams or external vendors to configure data feeds according to platform specifications.
  • Program Maintenance: Manage and troubleshoot affiliate programs, ensuring efficient collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Publisher Negotiations: Negotiate competitive commission rates with publishers tailored to individual markets.

Account Setup

  • Platform Recommendations: Advise on platform selection, operational expenses, and service level agreements.
  • Contract & Invoice Management: Develop streamlined processes for managing contracts and invoicing with platforms and networks.
  • Account Creation:
    • Establish brand profiles for each market.
    • Upload creative assets (logos, banners, and evergreen content).
    • Prepare and upload text links for promotions or evergreen landing pages.
    • Draft terms and conditions for publishers.
    • Define commission structures and publisher program terms.
  • Guidelines & Materials:
    • Provide brand content guidelines for messaging and creative assets.
    • Distribute program materials to publishers, including program overviews, brand/product details, and publisher benefits.
  • Platform Integration: Oversee platform tagging, data feed integration, and testing.
  • Third-Party Tracking: Provide guidelines for integrating tracking systems like Google Analytics (GA).

Account Maintenance

  • Content Optimization: Regularly update program details, brand information, and publisher benefits.
  • Program Updates: Modify terms for specific markets as needed.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Ensure tracking, tags, and data feeds are functioning correctly, and coordinate fixes when necessary.
  • Progress Reporting: Deliver bi-weekly maintenance updates to client stakeholders.

Client Communication & Relationship Management

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly liaise with key stakeholders, including:
    • Client HQ and local teams.
    • Internal and external tech partners.
    • Affiliate platforms and network representatives.
  • Relationship Building: Provide strategic consultation, articulate recommendations, and deliver program updates.
  • Presentations: Lead discussions and present program updates to HQ and local client teams.

Best Practices & Thought Leadership

  • Affiliate Expertise: Guide clients on integration, commissioning structures, content, and publisher communication.
  • Industry Trends: Monitor sector and channel trends to identify opportunities, challenges, and training needs.
  • Client Advocacy: Understand client business needs, offering tailored solutions to drive results.
  • Project Management: Manage large-scale projects across multiple platforms, networks, and markets.

 

 

Requirements

  • Native Korean Speaker (mandatory).
  • Experience: 5+ years in affiliate or partnership marketing.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver precise work.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Familiarity with data-driven marketing processes.
  • Documentation Skills: Strong capability in reporting and documentation.
  • Agency Experience: Preferred background in agency environments.
