Overview

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Senior Strategy Manager at Assembly plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the media strategies for our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of strategists, and ensuring the development and implementation of effective media strategies into plans and campaigns. Your strategic insights, leadership, and ability to navigate the ever-evolving media landscape will be instrumental in delivering outstanding results for our clients.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING ON ANY GIVEN DAY

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and thought leadership to the team, ensuring that media strategies align with client objectives and industry trends.
  • Team Management: Oversee a small team of media strategists, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and develop media strategies that drive business growth.
  • Media Strategic Conception: Lead the development of comprehensive media strategies, including but not limited to audience segmentation, channel selection, budget allocation, and messaging strategies, etc.
  • Campaign Execution: Ensure the effective execution of media strategies, monitoring their performance and assisting planning teams in optimization recommendations.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize 3rd party and campaign performance data and analytics to derive insights and make data-driven recommendations for campaign strategic improvements in the future.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry and market trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the allocation of budgets, ensuring campaigns are cost-effective and deliver a strong ROI with sufficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with planning teams, client servicing managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to campaigns.

 

Qualifications

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

  • 7+ years of experience in media planning and strategy, with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong team management skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and data interpretation abilities.
  • Working knowledge in insights, media planning and analytics tools (e.g., GWI, Statista, Similar Web, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Korean.
  • Strong understanding of various media channels, both traditional and digital.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing media landscape and a proactive approach to staying updated on industry trends.
