Overview

The Digital Manager/ Sr. Manager at Assembly will play a pivotal role in devising and executing digital media strategies for our agency's clients. You'll be responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of effective media strategies into plans and campaigns. Your strategic insights and performance driven mindset alongside an ability to navigate the ever-evolving media landscape will be instrumental in delivering outstanding performance for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Digital Media Planning: Use your knowledge of digital platforms and insight from the client’s data to lead the development of comprehensive performance media strategies, including but not limited to audience segmentation, channel selection, budget allocation, and messaging strategies for improving the client’s performance against their business goals.
  • Campaign Execution: Ensure the effective execution of media strategies, monitoring their performance and leading Activation teams in collating optimization recommendations and providing these to clients.
  • Lead PPC Activation: Responsibility for ensuring we maximize paid search platform performance for clients. Devise innovative client specific paid search strategy, tactics and tests. These search tactics will sit across global and local search channels as well as PMAX and shopping.
  • Platform Updates: Keeping on top of changing paid search trends and the latest betas and implementing these in campaigns.
  • Quality Assurance: Checking accurate implementation and accuracy of tests and campaign set ups, when leading other team members.
  • Client Communication: Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and develop media strategies that drive business growth. Communicate effectively and proactively to ensure Assembly are one step ahead in providing strategy to meet their goals.
  • Budget Management: Ensuring campaigns are cost-effective and budgets are distributed accurately in support of the clients’ goals.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize 3rd party and campaign performance data and analytics to derive insights and make data-driven recommendations for campaign strategic improvements. You will need to look for insight to help drive our strategy and optimization direction, going beyond just simple data analysis.
  • Team Development: As you will be leading on large accounts you should be helping to guide and develop team members around you increasing the team’s knowledge to in turn lead to stronger skills across the team to work on the client’s account. This will include effectively delegating work where necessary and coaching team members to ensure the work will be of high quality.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with planning teams, client servicing managers, and other stakeholders from across multiple markets to ensure a holistic and aligned approach to campaigns.

Qualifications

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

  • 4+ years of experience working on digital media platforms, with a proven track record of managing successful campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of various digital media channels.
  • Experience of handling large budgets.
  • Experience of handling large paid search budgets, including multiple search engines (eg. Naver, Google, Bing) and campaign types (eg. Shopping, PMAX, Search).
  • Experience working on search management platforms a plus (eg. Search Ads 360, Skai, Adobe Media Optimizer).
  • Experience of leading accounts, or projects.

·       Preferably media agency experience.

·       Confident client facing ability.

·       Confident ability to communicate with and manage platform reps.

  • Possess a Growth mindset.
  • Eye for detail and ability to follow as well as help devise and improve processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and data interpretation abilities and clear and effective communication techniques for sharing this with clients.
  • Working knowledge in insights, media planning and analytics tools, a plus (e.g., GWI, Statista, Similar Web, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing media landscape and a proactive interest in staying updated on industry trends.
  • Fluency and excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Korean.
